Kinectic or Endpoint Protocol

Easily Automated

The G-6-PD Deficiency Neonatal Screening Kit is an kinetic/colorimetric assay for the quantitative determination of enzymatic activity of Glicose-6-Phosphate-Dehydrogenase in dried blood spots or whole blood samples. The 30 minutes protocol is very simple and it is based on one reagent addition and reading absorbance at 340nm (knetic) or 550nm (colorimetric) in a single microplate reader. The methodology does not require special or expensive equipments and the procedure can be performed manually or easily automated, which makes the kit suitable for small, medium or big routine. Protocol includes Hemoglobin Normalization.
